Whether it’s the 5km “Bush Hopper”, 22km “Chase” or the 45km “Challenge” - everyone is guaranteed a good time. Rated as a less technical event with free flowing single track through pristine woodland with very little ascent but exciting log bridge crossings, cheered on by local villages en route - the Kasanka Cycle Challenge is an unforgettable experience!

Rated as a less technical event with free flowing single track through pristine woodland with very little ascent but exciting log bridge crossings, cheered on by local villagers along the route, this race is considered to be fun and exciting at the same time.
Single-track, dirt-roads and Hippo paths in Kasanka National Park and the adjoining local community. The route winds through miombo woodland & dambo’s, with some short rocky drops and ascents along the way.
Option 1: 5km Bush Hopper run
Option 2: 5km Bush Hopper cycle
Option 3: 22km Cycle Challenge
Option 4: 45km Cycle Challenge
Bush Hopper - 5km Cycle / 5km Run: ZMW 55 per person
The Chase: 22km Cycle: ZMW 120 per person
The Challenger: 45km Cycle: ZMW 280 per person
Accommodation is offered in rondavels / chalets at Wasa Lodge (2 persons per unit) or in Luwombwa Lodge chalets (3+ person epr unit). Camping options also available at either Pontoon, Kabwe, Bufumu or at the Cycle Villlage where all the action takes place.
